Ron became a master electrician in 1983 and has been a leader in the industry ever since, conducting both site management & office management throughout. He has specific experience in Alberta’s oil sands as a Superintendent, overseeing large work crews. He has been self-employed in the vast majority of his career; as an electrical contractor in Calgary 10+ years, and as a product representative sales professional 10+ years.
There is simply no substitute for the decades of wide ranging training & experience Ron brings to the company. His leadership and knowledge are powerful tools in developing creative solutions to meet very demanding project requirements.
He has developed a strong proficiency for design-build, and enjoys a reputation for intelligent cost saving / efficient approach. He is the corporate principle, lead estimator, project manager, head safety officer, and operations manager of MPS Electric Ltd.
In any endeavour, commitment to safety is the foundation that Ron has established in the company culture. He believes that a job is only successful when all parties feel good about price, process, and end product.

Jared is our site foreman, scheduling coordinator & manager of materials handling. He is known for creating a safe work environment for all workers, including our own staff with other trades, clients, inspectors, or other proximal parties on job sites. MPS brings the same values of quality work & cooperation to safety as we do to productivity, prioritizing strong morale through communication & responsive adjustments.
Jared has a wealth of knowledge in residential, commercial and industrial building applications. He stays up to date on education, certification, and training courses. Continuing professional development is an essential strength during phases of such rapid innovative development.
Jared has a reputation for coming up with simple solutions to complex issues that naturally & frequently occur on most / all construction projects. Often, only one course of action must be taken, where any course chosen will likely affect multiple things to a complex degree. He has a knack for optimizing multiple impacts on a single course.

Jared McKee
Jason is our Sales & Service Specialist. He is the primary web developer for this site, product specialist, and is focused on developing communications technology as a service for MPS Electric. His background in sales includes industrial, commercial & residential lighting fixtures, renewable energy technologies, including PV & TEG, and complimentary / supplementary components for each.
He is a Rotarian & prolific volunteer. He works on site during demolition, rough-in, construction materials & waste management efforts of project development. He has an undergraduate Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Lakehead University in 2007.
It is labour that makes the mind right for academic abstractions, and not the reverse. To build intelligently provides for me, a satisfactory use of hand & mind.
